Adobe packs 70 tools into a single ChatGPT plugin for cross-app editing

Original version ·

Adobe has bundled over 70 tools from Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat into one ChatGPT plugin, letting users automate complex workflows through chat.

Adobe has released a unified plugin for ChatGPT that combines photo and video editing, layout design, document handling, and print preparation. The tool integrates more than 70 features across company software, including Photoshop, Premiere, Firefly, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Express, and Adobe Stock.

Instead of manual navigation, the plugin selects the appropriate service based on user-uploaded files and text descriptions. The system operates inside ChatGPT Work and Codex, allowing tasks like batch photo processing, PDF management, and vertical video conversion. Projects can later be exported into desktop applications for finer adjustments.

Certain features work without authentication, but logging into an Adobe account unlocks generative tools, Creative Cloud storage, and cross-session saving. If a task exceeds chat capabilities, the system directs users to the full desktop software. This release follows separate single-app plugins launched in December 2025.
