Instead of chasing useless benchmark trophies against monster flagship models, this release is built entirely around powering autonomous agent workflows. The system is tuned to run multi-step code execution, data processing, and financial spreadsheet operations without crying for human validation at every turn.
The engineering focus here is pure reliability, drastically reducing intermediate errors that usually derail automated scripts halfway through execution.
On the financial side, Google slashed the operational cost roughly in half compared to the previous iteration. Because a single agent task frequently chains dozens of API queries back-to-back, halving the inference price directly makes running automated bots commercially viable.
The model is already available for testing through Google AI Studio.
